Rebekah DiMartino was injured in the Boston Marathon bombings in 2013. Since then, the 27-year-old from Texas has been through 17 operations to try and save her severely injured left leg, but she finally decided to have the limb amputated.

Left leg we are breaking up! Tomorrow at 12:30 you will be cut off and I will be moving on with my life. It's been real though.

However, DiMartino made sure to send her leg out in style, holding a "last supper" for her appendage this weekend, an event well-attended by DiMartino's (and her leg's) friends and family.

She continued documenting the rest of her leg's time up until her surgery Monday.

If you look closely, you can see the smiley face DiMartino drew on her bandage.
