Pat Sajak has seen a lot over the 33 years he has hosted Wheel of Fortune, but he couldn't get over the horsing around on Monday's episode.
The particular puzzle at the center of the story begins with the contestants on the syndicated game show guessing a 4-word answer to the question "What are you doing?"
After contestants Mitch and Lee successfully guess the first letter, putting a single "N" on the board in the first word, the duo has three seconds to guess the answer.
"Riding a brown horse," says one of the men, taking a stab in the dark.
His guess is met by laughter from the studio audience and Sajak.
"That's amazing!" Sajak, 68, exclaims. "And it's wrong."
After the next team – Audrey and Antoinette – add a single "G" to the board, the women give their best guess as well.
"Riding a white horse?" one of the women says with a shrug.
In disbelief, Sajak walks off the stage.
"Who said anything about a horse?" he yells as the audience roars with laughter.
The correct answer was reportedly "Seeing a buddy movie."
