The Real Housewives of New Jersey not only ended its season and reunion Tuesday night, but it also said goodbye to Teresa Giudice – perhaps forever.

"Do you think this is it for you?" host Andy Cohen asked her.

"Yeah, I think so," said an emotional Giudice, who is scheduled to report to prison on Jan. 5 to serve a 15-month sentence for fraud charges. "You're gonna make me cry, Andy. This is probably gonna be my last reunion."

Giudice also offered a rare show of remorse.

"I just want to apologize to all my fans out there who I let down," said Giudice, stating that what scared her most about jail was "not being with my daughters."

"I'm going to make myself a better person," she promised.

Her send-off, however, wasn't without fireworks.

The Victoria Gotti rumor that wouldn't go away all season – that Rino Aprea slept with his wife, Teresa's, mother – pitted Teresa vs. Teresa.

"If it's not true, why are you getting so heated about it?" Giudice asked Aprea, who was still furious about the rumor and previously stated that "karma's a bitch" and "clink-clink" in regard to Giudice's prison term.

"You can't hurt people and not expect to get hurt back," replied Aprea, who said Giudice spread the rumor because she needed to "throw somebody under the bus" because she wasn't "bringing anything new to the show." "When you're hurting people deliberately, you can't expect blessings back."

"Karma, whatever," said Giudice. "If it's not true, be secure with yourself."

In the end, however, it was a sad goodbye for Giudice, who Cohen said helped create reality television largely due to the table flip heard round the world in season 1.

"We wish the best for you," said Cohen, who reached out to grab her hand tenderly as the show ended. "I'm getting a little emotional."

"You're making me get emotional," said a teary-eyed Giudice. "Maybe you'll see me on a cooking show. You never know."
